The first post

As you might guess, this is the first post to my new website. Since this is the first post there's not much to it, but most things seem to be functional.

If you're interested in the backend, I've built this site using the Jekyll static site generator and hosted it using NearlyFreeSpeech. The main reason I've made mitsake is to learn a little bit more about Ruby and other things like SSH as I build and expand the site. I'm hoping to document how I've set everything up and the thought process behind the choices I've made in a later post.

The only other functional pages so far are the about and archive pages. Please feel free have a look if you're looking for a little more content.
